A Message from the Dean

With the sporadic weather we have been experiencing in Shreveport, it’s difficult to tell whether it is winter or spring. But one thing for sure, the spring semester is in full swing and students are buried in tests and projects. We still try to keep a balance however, and we have recently enjoyed several events sponsored by our Student Government Association. Most recently we held our annual Chili Cook-Off with some very flavorful entries.

Coming up in March is a Fish Fry to mark the beginning of Lent and the ever popular Crawfish Boil that will occur in late April. Plans are also underway for our 2nd Annual Painting with a Purpose, a fundraiser for our School Foundation. The theme this year will be “Collegiate Smackdown.” Details to follow, but in the meantime, save the date of July 14th!
