The OSPTT provides services to faculty and staff at Louisiana Health Shreveport involved in the acquisition and administration of sponsored projects and technology transfer. OSPTT encourages and assists scientific research throughout the LSU Health Shreveport community.

Our mission is to promote the Institution's goal to increase the level of sponsored project funding, to protect the interests of the Institution and its faculty and staff, and to provide the highest degree of support services.

Grant Forward can be accessed directly from a campus computer or from an off-campus computer by setting up an account using your LSUHSC-S e-mail address. Setting up an account will allow researchers to save searches, received customized notices of new or updated funding opportunities, and to save individual grant opportunities for future reference. Please note: LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans is also using Grant Forward.  Therefore, as we share the same email domain names (, during sign-up, LSUHSC-S users will be asked to select your current site.  LSUHSC-S users will need to select Shreveport as the institution.
