What's going to happen?

If you are interviewing on a Tuesday between October and March, this is probably for you. Nonetheless, you need to read the e-mail confirming your own interview to be sure.

Check in at the Admissions office in Building B, Room 1-208, and you’ll be taken to the conference room next door, where the orientation will be held.

11:00 - 11:30 Check in.
11:30 - 12:30Lunch with medical students.
12:45 - 1:55An orientation session concerning the basic sciences, the clinical program, research, financial aid and various other topics begins the afternoon.
2:00 - 4:00Two blind, one-on-one interviews are scheduled for this time. "Blind" means that while your interviewer will have your personal statement and biographical data, he or she will not have your grades, MCAT scores or letters of recommendation.
2:00 - 4:00Besides the two scheduled interviews, you will have an open-book interview with either the Chairman of the Admissions Committee or the Dean of Admissions, who will review all aspects of your application. These last from a few minutes to as long as needed to clarify any issues. The purpose of this interview is to anticipate any questions that might arise during committee review.
4:00 - 5:00Some of our students will take you on a tour of the medical school and hospital.
